What matters in life is how you respond to Christ. Responding with love and longing will bring you eternal life. If you respond with indifference or hostility, you risk separation. In Luke 9:18-21, Jesus asked His disciples the following two questions:

2. Who do you say that I am?

If Jesus were to ask you the same two questions, what would you say?

Jesus, forgive us for the times we have condemned you in others through our silence and indifference. Help us welcome all as you did. Teach us to follow you.
