What matters in life is how you respond to Christ. Responding with love and longing will bring you eternal life. If you respond with indifference or hostility, you risk separation. In Luke 9:18-21, Jesus asked His disciples the following two questions:
1. Who do the crowds say that I am?
2. Who do you say that I am?

If Jesus were to ask you the same two questions, what would you say?

What is a Christian? How is your life different because you are a Christian? What do you think it means to love others as Jesus loves us?

What practical steps can I take to live the life of a disciple?

The Good Shepherd will always protect us, but it is our job to stay close to Him as possible. How do I stay close to Jesus so I will hear his voice when he wants to lead me away from danger?

Why is Peter a good example of how to be a disciple of Jesus? What does he do and say in the Gospel?

Why do you think Thomas wanted to see Jesus before believing he had been raised? Do you think you would have felt the same way, or do you think you would have believed based on what the other disciples told you? How are you able to believe as a christian today?
